This page explains how the review reply tool handles the review text you submit and the draft replies it creates.
Review text and draft replies
Review text is sent to an AI service to generate draft replies. Practice Lantern does not store review text or generated replies in the app. The AI service has its own data handling and retention policy, which is managed separately from Practice Lantern.
Protect patient privacy before pasting
Dental offices should remove patient names and health details before pasting a review. Also remove contact details and dates. Names and other identifying details may not be detected automatically, so check the text yourself before submitting it.
Using generated drafts
Generated replies are suggestions for your review. Check each draft, edit it as needed, and make your own decision before using or posting it.
